Frequently Asked Questions
What is breastmilk jewelry?
Breastmilk jewelry is a meaningful way to preserve a special season of motherhood. Using a small amount of your preserved breastmilk, I create a one-of-a-kind keepsake designed to honor your journey and the bond you share with your child.
What other types of remembrance jewelry do you offer?
In addition to breastmilk jewelry, I create remembrance pieces that may include ashes, hair, dried flowers, or other meaningful elements. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted to reflect your story and the memories you wish to hold close.
How much breastmilk is needed?
Only a small amount of breastmilk is required—typically 10–15 ml. Detailed instructions will be provided to ensure your milk is safely prepared and shipped.
Is my breastmilk or memorial material handled safely?
Yes. Every order is handled with the utmost care, respect, and confidentiality. Your materials are clearly labeled, safely stored, and used only for your piece.
Will my jewelry last over time?
Your jewelry is made using professional preservation techniques and high-quality materials designed to last. As with all fine jewelry, proper care will help maintain its beauty for years to come.
Can I customize my jewelry?
Absolutely. Each piece is customizable, from metal type and stone shape to the addition of meaningful inclusions. My goal is to help you create something that feels deeply personal and uniquely yours.
How long does the process take?
Turnaround time varies depending on the piece and current order volume. Most orders are completed within X–Y weeks after all materials are received. You will be kept informed throughout the process.(We can customize this once you know your exact timeframe.)
Will I receive updates during the process?
Yes. I understand how meaningful this process is and strive to keep communication clear and supportive. You’ll be notified when your materials are received and when your piece is nearing completion.
Do you return unused breastmilk or memorial materials?
Unused materials can be returned upon request. Please let me know when placing your order if you would like this included.
How should I care for my jewelry?
To protect your piece, avoid prolonged exposure to water, chemicals, perfumes, or extreme heat. Store it in a dry, safe place when not in use. Care instructions will be included with your order.
Is breastmilk jewelry safe to wear?
Yes. Once preserved and sealed, your breastmilk is completely safe to wear and no longer in its natural state.
What if I’m not currently breastfeeding?
That’s okay. Many clients create jewelry from previously stored breastmilk or choose remembrance pieces to honor a past season, loved one, or meaningful moment.
What if I have questions or feel unsure about the process?
You are always welcome to reach out. I understand this is an emotional and personal decision, and I’m here to answer your questions and support you every step of the way.
